Today would have been Pat Troughton’s 97th Birthday.

Pat is still my favorite Doctor. And still the man who created this legacy that we have 53+ years later.

Without his talent and success as the first ever regenerated Doctor we would not be waiting for The 13th Doctor (and 14th overall) to come at the end of this year.

A great debt is owed to Pat by every Doctor Who fan.
